Chevron World Challenge The Chevron World Challenge brings golf's finest stars to Southern California. The tournament is played at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif., on a course designed by famed architect and professional golfer Jack Nicklaus. Tiger Woods hosts a field of 18 elite PGA Tour players competing for a $5.75 million prize purse, and the tournament helps raise money for programs of the Tiger Woods Foundation, including the Tiger Woods Learning Center in Orange County. Tiger Woods Invitational at Pebble Beach The Tiger Woods Foundation will host the inaugural Tiger Woods Invitational at Pebble Beach, Oct. 11-13, 2011. This three-day amatuer golf experience will take place on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula in California. The event will feature deluxe accommodations at The Lodge at Pebble Beach; access to play Spyglass Hill Golf Club, Monterey Peninsula Club - Shore Course and Pebble Beach Golf Links; and an exclusive golf exhibition and dinner hosted by Tiger Woods.
