Sandra Palmer won 19 events on the LPGA Tour, including two majors.
More than 120 girls from the Anaheim area participated in the TWLC Jr. Girls Golf Clinic on May 8.
Along with learning the fundamentals of putting, chipping and pitching, the girls were also treated to some inspirational messages from the president of the Women's Southern California Golf Association Foundation, Kathy Minter; 1975 U.S. Open women's champion Sandra Palmer; the Long Beach State women's golf team and six of California's finest LPGA golf professionals.
The fun event ended with a raffle, in which many young ladies took home new golf equipment and products.
