Earl Woods Scholars from all over the country attended an exciting, week-long scholar orientation June 14-18 in Orange County. Listening to a range of inspiring speakers, including Larry Reed of HSBC, Rob Collins of Franklin Covey and several keynote speakers at Toastmasters International headquarters, the Scholars gained tips on topics such as public speaking, money management and the seven habits for highly effective people.

The D.C. Scholars also discovered something life-altering: In-N-Out burgers! The event-filled week ended with a special presentation by the Scholars outlining their orientation experience to the Foundation staff, their mentors and special guests.
