The Tiger Woods Learning Center hosted the second annual Club Championship at the Dad Miller Golf Course on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Thirty-six junior golfers came out to compete at this fun event, and each received a sleeve of Nike golf balls and an EFX Performance Wristband for participating.
Competition was hot as each golfer played tirelessly for the champion's trophy in their division. In the end, three golfers prevailed.
Shaiyana Sam from Canyon High School was the ultimate winner in the high school division, Andrew Fernandes of Tetzlaff Middle School captured the trophy in the junior high division and Jason Del Fierro from La Canada Elementary was the little hero of the day in the elementary division.
The day ended with a great pizza party and awards ceremony. We all look forward to a bigger and better event next year!
