Grants Supporting education and youth development is one way in which the Tiger Woods Foundation helps young students reach their full potential. The TWF Grants Program has supported an average of 100 charities annually with millions of dollars since its inception in 1996. Scholarships In celebration of Earl D. Woods' lifelong dedication to helping young people achieve their dreams, the Tiger Woods Foundation created the Earl D. Woods Scholarship program. To date, more than $1 million has been donated in Earl's memory of caring and sharing, which has been matched by Tiger, bringing the total amount to more than $2 million. The EDW Scholarships are awarded in amounts of up to $5,000 to academically-successful, graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated financial need and a proven commitment to community service.
