Welcome to the Tiger Woods Learning Center Summer Camp. Summers at the Tiger Woods Learning Center (TWLC) just got a lot more exciting! Whether you're a budding scientist, a beginning golfer or a future engineer, the Summer Academy has an exciting program for you. The Academy provides an unparalleled learning experience for young people, ages 11-13. Taught by year-round, full-time instructors, the innovative TWLC curriculum blends the highest-quality academics with authentic, real-world learning. From the most advanced robotics lessons to beginning golf, the TWLC philosophy revolves around hands-on learning and project-based experiences. Summer at the Tiger Woods Learning Center focuses on STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Math) or Golf for the beginning player. Our flexible curriculum allows students to move along at their own pace with customized lessons for a fun and appropriate challenge. Although the week-long Summer Academy is open to any student interested in attending, the primary purpose is to provide children from military families with an overnight camp experience coupled with a fun week of experiments, building robots, launching rockets, designing video games, exploring marine life and possibly even learning how to golf. Thanks to the generous donations from our corporate sponsors, dozens of children from military families will travel from bases around the world to attend the TWLC Summer Academy on a tuition scholarship. "I grew up in a military family, and it means a lot to me to bring these kids to the Learning Center for an exciting week," founder Tiger Woods said. "These young people go through a lot with parents serving in the military, and this is our way of honoring their sacrifice and saying thank you to their families."
