The Tiger Woods Learning Center teaching method is based on the idea that students learn best by doing. In the years since inception, the educators at the TWLC have developed an interactive, fun teaching philosophy that engages scholars in creative thinking, problem solving, team building and, most importantly, career exploration and college prep.
Each month, we feature a new lesson, taken straight from the TWLC that can be easily implemented in any classroom. We believe teaching should be interactive and flexible, and it's reflected in our lessons. Our STEM-focused subjects range from chemistry to engineering to marine science and beyond. TWLC lessons have been aligned to the Common Core State Standards in the areas of: health, science, language arts & writing, and mathematics.
